This is awesome. How is the emulation going with Rebel Strike though? And it is almost playable on my aging PC, too. It doesn't work with OpenGL without causing lots of error messages about geometry (the errors suggesting my graphics card is too old) that results in a weird wireframe over the top of the game display. But in Direct3D mode it doesn't error. The only issue then is the framerate, as I end up getting a fluctuating framerate between 20 and 45 FPS in game, instead of the required 60 FPS.
I did manage to make it through the first mission, though, to destroy the Death Star in the trench run.
It is quite annoying not being able to skip the opening text crawl though. Watched that a few times in my efforts to get through that first mission. I'll need to wait to see if there are any other speed improvements, or until I get a new PC before I can continue, though.

They desperately need to release native PC releases of the other two titles in the Rogue series.
Can you imagine how good they'd look and sound played at a 4K resolution!
Of course that's assuming they still have to code and there's no stupid legal disputes.
Capcom and a few others have been firing out the re-makes recently...
The first game is good but it has aged; the second game looks better in every area - as a sequel should be.
I did have a go at emulating with Dolphin with my AMD 955 BE but it definitely favors Intel chips. My HD4770 is a bit long in the tooth too! =
Sound was a bit wonky as well =S
I suppose could do with changing a few bits when Broadwell / Skylake is released.

Well I was using an E8500 (3.16GHz dual core) with a GTX260 (factory overclocked, not stock). It played, but I wasn't getting a good frame rate. Sound was a bit wonky as well =S
Make sure you are using the dolphin-master-4.0-5279-x64 version, and set the sound to use DSP-LLE otherwise the sound is a bit messed up.

I loved the game on game cube, never played RQ3.
I will keep the Game Cube Version, but nice to have the option to play it on pc.

Thanks for posting about this. I tried using Dolphin quite some time ago to play Rogue Leader and it wasn't pleasant. But after reading your post I tried it again and (after a lot of trial and error with settings) it now runs perfectly at 60 fps for almost the whole time.
Sadly, though, Rebel Strike doesn't really work too well for me at the moment (fluctuates between 40-60 fps and is a bit choppy in areas) - space missions are fine, but land missions are too laggy. That said, I have seen it playing much better on some YouTube videos so maybe it's just my settings or hardware that is lacking.
My specs: Windows 8.1; i7 3820 3.6 GHz; 4 GB RAM; Nvidia GTX 780.
